Seit fast 200 Jahren trotzt Talisker stolz den Elementen an der Atlantikküste der Isle of Skye, inmitten einer Landschaft der Extreme, die den Whisky zu dem macht, was er ist. Mit Talisker Wilder Seas kommt jetzt eine limitierte Abfüllung auf den Markt, für die jede Flasche mit Bio-Diesel und aus 100% recyceltem Glas hergestellt wird.
 
Zudem hat sich die Inselbrennerei mit der gemeinnützigen Umweltorganisation Parley For The Oceans zusammengetan. Die Mission: 100 Millionen Quadratmeter natürlichen Meeresraum schützen und wiederaufbauen. Dafür unterstützt Talisker die Meeresschützer mit 3 Euro pro hergestellter Flasche. Ohne das Meer gäbe es schließlich keinen Talisker.
 
Als erster Talisker überhaupt erhielt Wilder Seas ein Finish in Cognacfässern. Weiche Pflaumen- und Rosinennoten fangen die wilde, unbändige Kraft des Meeres mit nie da gewesener Tiefe ein. Es folgt eine vollmundige Fruchtigkeit, flankiert von delikatem Meersalz und einem Hauch von Rauch und Gewürzen
